Exploring the Thoth Tarot

When I made my happy first acquaintance with Tarot back in 1988, it was via the well known Thoth deck created by Aleister Crowley and Lady Frieda Harris in the 1940s. I was taken by the radiance and beauty of the cards. I felt the occult depth in their symbols asking to be uncovered. I studied Crowley’s The Book of Thoth as well as Sallie Nichol’s Jung and Psychology. Because I had decided that Tarot fascinated me in general. It is a true Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy! No wonder that the next decades saw me continuously treading all these roads to one degree or another…
